Irish Language Daily Newspaper to receive £400,000 grant
On 25 September it was announced that the daily newspaper in Irish - Lá - would receive a grant worth at least £400,000 (€596,000).
The grant comes from the cross-border body Foras na Gaelige for the promotion of the Irish language. The grant will be paid out over two years to Preas an Phobail, the publishers of Lá.
